Be the Light!
First Light is a non-profit organization that only operates because of the generosity and support of our community. If you want to be the light for victims and survivors in Anderson and Oconee Counties, you can learn more below!
Become a Volunteer Advocate: Support survivors through our 24/7 Helpline, Emergency Room visits, and much more! See below for more information about becoming an advocate.
Work in the Office: Volunteers are needed in the office during the day to help with general office tasks and client support.
Building Maintenance: We welcome volunteers who enjoy painting, cleaning, yard work, and landscaping. If you’re handy, let us know!
Donations: First Light accepts monetary and in-kind donations.
Donations of new clothes go to people who have experienced sexual assault or child abuse after their Emergency Room visit.
Donations of cleaning items, snacks, paper goods, batteries, and gift cards help us to keep our services free to the public, and provide support to the survivors we serve.
